Hi! I’m Lena Foer, a therapist who works with people looking to find ways to deal with their strong emotions and life’s stresses.
I connect well with clients who value honesty, rationality, thoroughness, and evidence-based approaches that actually work. Through my training and experience, I help clients develop practical skills for emotional regulation, problem-solving, and facing life’s challenges with both courage and self-respect.
The therapeutic approaches I primarily use are cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy—methods with strong research backing.
My main professional interests are complex PTSD, cluster B personality disorders, and helping people navigate intense emotional states that can feel overwhelming.
I see clients online, and here are some details about price and format.
A little bit about me
I was born and raised in Russia, and in 2014 I started moving around the world a lot and managed to live in Ukraine, Thailand, Vietnam, Hungary, Germany, Argentina. Since 2025 my home is in Spain, Barcelona.
My first degree is in journalism, I spent more than 10 years writing and editing articles about medicine and psychology. In 2020 I obtained my second Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Manchester, UK. Since then I have been working as a psychologist.
My work is my main interest and what I enjoy most is working with clients to understand how their problems work and what we can change together to make things better. I work in cognitive behavioural approaches because I am focused on finding answers to life’s puzzles and working solutions to problems.
